Crossvine

MARIETTA, GA

A rare pocket of remote land in East Cobb County, Crossvine is hidden away down a long narrow drive that winds past old stone ruins and terraced stone walls from the 19th century setting a tranquil, romantic scene reminiscent of days gone by. At the end of the drive, the arrival opens onto a forgotten pocket of rolling hills and fields, a wooded hamlet that culminates in a large pond. Here, Brightwater Homes conceived Crossvine with a focus on minimizing impact on the existing landscape and incorporating the found materials of local stone into the community’s design – reflected in the stone used in many of the home designs as well as a central mailbox amenity crafted to look like a historic ruin of long forgotten stones.

Crossvine’s homes are sophisticated yet relaxed, appropriate for a secluded country lane, with traditional styles rendered in brick, stone, clapboard, shingle and timber. Romantic English Country and Tudor designs are accented by transitional detailing for a seamless and timeless blend of country estate and modern living.
